Come celebrate the holiday season with Panaro Brothers Winery!

This year we will be spreading the holiday cheer in our beautiful winery. A delicious dinner will be set up in our Barrel Room so you can eat, drink, and socialize. It is the perfect way to kick off the holiday season with a night you will not forget! Each ticket includes one glass of wine and dinner. As always, we will be pouring tastes of exclusive PBW wines all night.  Tickets are very limited; make sure to RSVP today!

From August 1st – December 31st, 2014, the 2014 Harvest Passport is your ticket to enjoy wine tastings at ten different Southern California wineries (a $150 value).  Along this urban wine trail you’ll be able to experience artisan wines made with grapes from the lush vineyards of California’s famous growing regions – all the way from Napa to Santa Barbara.  Passport holders can sample the wines, tour the wineries’ production areas, and even help punch down newly-crushed grapes or sample wines straight from the barrel!

Bring your proof of purchase to any VCWA winery and you will be issued a 2014 Harvest Passport.  Use your passport to enjoy one full tasting flight at each participating winery.  Simply show your passport, and enjoy incredible wine tastings – it’s that easy.  10 wineries too much for one day?  Not to worry, you can use your passport at your leisure through December 30th.

2014 California Jazz & Wine Festival

The California Jazz and Wine Festival is a showcase of premier California jazz, wine and culinary professionals.  Now in its 3rd year, the festival will feature Panaro Brothers Winery and many other local wineries, microbreweries, restaurateurs and caterers.

This year’s entertainment includes the legendary band, Ambrosia, and will likely feature some if not all of last year’s performers, i.e., the Alex Smith Quartet, the Matt Finders Ensemble, Tin Drum, the Luis Conte Septet, and Carl Verheyen, as well as the Conejo Valley All Stars.

Mystery Wine Tasting Challenge

Challenge your taste buds and wine knowledge by participating in a private blind-tasting comparison of 5 white and 5 red wines!  Throughout the evening, you will have the opportunity to taste 10 wines, judging each for taste, quality, and body.  Each participant will mark their own tasting sheet and rank the wines from 1 to 5 in each class.

Wine tasting sheets will be collected near the end of the evening to tally the votes and the actual wines can then be revealed. Let’s see if your choice wins!

Winners in each category (red wines & white wines) will receive a PBW Gift Basket!

This Valentine’s Day weekend, the wineries of the Ventura County Winery Association invite guests to sample a tasting flight at each of their wineries over the course of four days for one wallet-friendly price. A $110 value for just $45 a Valentine ‘n Wine passport is the ideal way to spend a relaxing weekend sampling the best of Ventura County wines while enjoying the beautiful coastline.

Your Valentine‘n Wine Passport Includes:

  • A Wine Tasting flight at eight wineries (approx. five wines each)
  • One-of-a-kind food-pairings at many locations.
  • Wine purchase specials at many locations.

The Ventura County Wine Trail’s
Local Food & Wine Challenge returns to Ventura County!

Teams of local chefs and winemakers will match up to see who can create the best food and wine pairing in Ventura County. The winner of the “Best Food & Wine Pairing” award will be chosen by a blind-tasting panel of judges, and announced during the evening. Attendees also have a HUGE part to play in the evening’s festivities by choosing their favorite for the “People’s Choice” award. Together, the very best pairing will be selected and awarded the 2014 trophies.

The evening will begin with champagne and live jazz. From there, guests sample the area’s finest wines and cuisine in an unmatched array of food and wine pairings! Proceeds from the evening will go to benefit Ventura County FOOD Share, one of the area’s largest food banks.
Join us for this culinary concert, featuring decadent food and wine pairings, champagne reception, live music and more!

Ventura Visitors Center adds PANARO BROTHERS WINERY to weekend tour stops…

The Ventura Visitors & Convention Bureau offers Wine Trail Tours every Saturday and Sunday for locals and tourists alike who want to spend a fun-filled day visiting a variety of wineries – and PBW is now one of the stops on Sunday tours.

These guided tours include transportation, tastings at four wineries and lunch. Departing Saturdays and Sundays at 11am from the Ventura Visitors Center at Main Street and California Street! – More details here.
